On Google’s Outrageous Demands in Their Antitrust Trial
Aiden Buzzetti, President of the Bull Moose Project, released the following statement addressing Google’s demands for access to the confidential business plans of their competitors:
“Under President Trump, the Department of Justice has pursued vigorous antitrust lawsuits against Google. Now, Google is seeking to have special privileges by gaining access to the confidential business plans of their rivals and sharing those plans with their outside counsel. With this information, they can seek to pre-emptively counter moves rivals may make -- undermining the entire point of an antitrust lawsuit in the first place. The Bull Moose Project vigorously opposes the idea that Google should have access to information which is so critical to their competitors, and we urge Judge Mehta to refuse their request.”
