The Bull Moose Project Applauds Reintroduction of the American Innovation and Choice Online Act
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Bull Moose Project today praised the reintroduction of the American Innovation and Choice Online Act (AICOA), led by Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and backed by a bipartisan coalition of their colleagues.
“More than a century ago, Theodore Roosevelt took on the trusts that had captured America’s economy. Today’s monopolists trade top hats for hoodies, but the threat is the same,” said Aiden Buzzetti, President of the Bull Moose Project. “A handful of Big Tech gatekeepers — Amazon, Google, Apple — now decide which businesses live or die, what prices families pay, and increasingly what speech is allowed online. AICOA ends the self-dealing and puts competition back in charge.”
“Reining in companies that crush their rivals and censor conservatives is the only way to preserve free markets and free speech,” Buzzetti added. “This is the American antitrust tradition doing exactly what it was built to do. We thank Senators Grassley and Klobuchar for their leadership and urge the Judiciary Committee to advance this bill without delay.”
