On the Democrat Shutdown

Government is supposed to work for the American people. But right now, that work is stalled because Democrats would rather play political games than pass a clean, continuing resolution funding the government. And this is tragic, because these games have losers, like the close to one million federal workers — including America’s men and women in uniform — who aren’t getting paychecks. Not to mention the millions more who rely upon federal services which will be at best chaotic and at worst, paused entirely.

The time is now for Democrats to put politics aside and pass a clean CR to put America’s government back to work.
