Support the Affordable Connectivity Program

At Bull Moose Project we wholeheartedly support Rural, Urban, and Small Town (RUST) Rejuvenation. In our small towns and rural communities, we've seen and felt the negative effects of our government-supporting policies that moved blue-collar jobs to foreign nations like China, leaving thousands out of work and with no recourse.

We’re glad to see one of the top champions of a rejuvenated heartland, Senator JD Vance, sponsor rural broadband access through the Affordable Connectivity Program Extension Act. As Senator Vance said, “Over a million deserving households in Ohio receive low-cost internet access thanks to the Affordable Connectivity Program”

A recent study of the program showed that:

  • 65% of those enrolled fear losing their job or their household’s primary source of income without access to broadband.

  • 75% of participants fear losing access to important healthcare services, like online appointments or prescription medicine refills.

  • 81% of parents enrolled worry about their children falling behind in school.

A huge swath of Americans have been left behind economically and culturally for decades, consistently ignored by politicians beyond those of their immediate community.
