Letter Supporting DMA Approach to Big Tech
Washington, DC, – Today, BULL MOOSE PROJECT led a coalition letter to President Donald Trump supporting the approach of the EU’s Digital Markets Act. The Bull Moose Project was joined by four other conservative leaders and organizations.
The letter reads:
“The DMA directly targets the core tactics Big Tech companies have used to build and maintain their monopolies. By establishing straightforward obligations for them — including banning self-preferencing (as demonstrated by Google’s suppression of Rumble’s GOP debate livestream in its search results), or Amazon’s ripping off American manufacturing innovators, requiring interoperability, eliminating artificial barriers, and ending exploitative data practices — the DMA forces the giants to play fair. This protects entrepreneurs, strengthens small businesses, and ensures consumers have real choices. And it still allows the tech giants to compete – on a level playing field – and continue to generate returns for their own investors, too.”
